Today at 14.03 a woman was apprehended on highstreet, after disrupting proceedings in a fabric shop. The shop assistant describes it as: ‘One of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. She stormed into the shop, demanding to see her precious fabrics. Then she proceded to cuddle bolts of wool and linen, cooing to them and stroking them. She apologized as if they were alive, explaining that she made some bad decisions in the past such as having a job and a social life. Those kept her away from them, however, everything would be alright now. That’s when we called the police.”
After the police arrived, they had to drag the woman away from the fabric as she protested that she had not yet completed “another V1250” or “S2473”. While the meaning of these arcane numbers is yet unknown, this reporter is glad that the poor woman will get the help she needs at the city hospital. She's expected to return to complete mental health the moment she'll be able to sit behind a sewing machine and sew.
